What if your child's biggest learning barriers have nothing to do with ability?

The Algorithmic Childhood Initiative

Your opportunity to contribute to a better understanding of modern childhood in the ages of algorithms

ALGORITHMIC CHILDHOOD INITIATIVE: A PARENT INSIGHT STUDY 2026

Despite digital changes, we still know surprisingly little about how modern digital childhood is truly impacting learning, confidence, critical thinking, emotional wellbeing and cognitive development.

The conversations around 'screen time' and 'phone bans' are good but have not yet reached a level to explore the root of the issue.

At Master Crafters Network Hub C.I.C we are leading the conversation by asking the question:

Should Critical Thinking Be Considered a Safeguarding Concern in the Algorithmic Ages?

With this, we are inviting parents and carers to contribute to our
Parent Insight Study.

This is more than a questionnaire. It is part of a wider commitment to understanding the realities facing children and families today, helping us build better support, stronger learning ecosystems and more meaningful conversations around education, development and digital wellbeing.

To us, your voice matters and the lived experiences of your family matter. The insights gathered will help shape future workshops, community initiatives and discussions, including our upcoming Dissecting Digital Identities series exploring childhood, technology, algorithms and the future of learning.

If you've visited our website and do nothing else today, please consider taking part.

Because if we want a better future for children, we must first be willing to understand the world they are growing up in.

Complete the Parent Insight Study and help us build a clearer picture of modern childhood.
